How to Get Rid of Dry Pimples – Remedies which Help

Some of the most effective remedies for dealing with dry pimples would include:

• Boil water in a large vessel. Once the boiling is in full swing, remove the vessel from the stove and place it on a surface slightly lower than your height. Now place a towel over your head and stoop over the vessel to steam your face well. Steam will open up all clogged pores and allow the impurities to flow out. This cleansing process will help in dealing with dry pimples better.

• Add some tea tree oil in the water you use for steaming purposes. Tea tree oil is famous for its anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties. Hence, steaming with it will help in deterring bacterial growth. However, when you steam, ensure that the steam does not scald your face. In case the heat becomes unbearable, let in some fresh air to make it more manageable.

• Tie up your hair in a turban, so that they do not touch your face. Now rinse your face with warm water in order to remove all dirt, debris and traces of infection, before going to bed.

• Mild exfoliation would be necessary to do away with dry pimples. Make a mild scrub at home by mixing some sea salt with honey. Scrub your face gently with this, in circular motions. Do not scrub too hard as this would cause the dry pimples to aggravate with vengeance.

• Since your pimples have dried out, you would need to keep your skin moisturized. Use a light, non-greasy, perfume free moisturizer on a daily basis.

In addition, you would need to refrain from touching your skin too often, to prevent exposure to dirt and grime. You also need to change your pillow covers at regular intervals and use clean washcloth for your face.
