Know Bacterial Infection

Bacteria not foreign to your body and it is found that there are more than millions of bacteria that live inside and outside the body in the skin, intestines and private parts. In most cases bacteria are in control and live in balance helping the various body processes to be carried on properly.

It is the entry of harmful bacteria or the bacteria getting out of control that leads to bacterial infection in human beings.

So it becomes very necessary to understand that only certain varieties of bacteria cause bacterial infection with some like MRSA, or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus that have spread over time to also develop resistance to most antibiotics that are used to treat them. 

It is found that methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus can cause a serious skin infection that is difficult to treat.  The same bacteria are known to cause respiratory and throat infections like pneumonia.
 
Haemophilus influenza, another common type of bacteria is also harmful and has caused infections of the respiratory tract, ear and even meningitis in many, while E Coli is responsible for urinary tract infections, gastro-intestinal tract infections and are well known to cause diarrhea and food poisoning in many.

Again H. Pylori bacteria cause stomach ulcers, while Salmonella, another food borne pathogen that are found in raw and uncooked eggs and poultry food and cause food poisoning.

Bacterial infection could show up as fever, with the immunity system getting ready to fight the infection. It is common to have pain and swelling in the affected part, with a discharge at times. It is a common body mechanism to have diarrhea and or vomiting that is the body’s method to get rid of the infection. A thorough examination with test would only help the doctor to come to the right diagnoses and treat bacterial infection.

Bacterial infection are treated with antibiotics that helps kill the bacteria or control its spread or multiplication. This helps to build the body defenses and control its spread. However home cures has helped cure bacterial infections with least side-effects.

Home cures for bacterial infection

The effectiveness of garlic as an effective home cure for bacterial infection cannot be overlooked. Proving to be much better than many other creams and ointments, a mixture of a 1 mashed clove of garlic with an equal amount of onion applied on the affected area helps.

However it is best to avoid leaving the onion and garlic mixture for more that 30 minutes as this could cause blisters. Garlic can also be taken internally with substantial benefit; soaking a few cloves of garlic in wine and straining and drinking it after a few hours helps. As an alternative honey lemonade or water could be used in place of wine.

Most people that have been convinced about home cures for various diseases and conditions would surely be convinced that apple cider vinegar is the best vinegar that can be used for treatment of infection conditions like bacterial infection. Apple cider vinegar has proved instrumental in not just bringing about a necessary balance, but also proves useful in controlling the growth of bacteria that could make the infection worse. You would find that a few teaspoons of this vinegar can be put into warm bath water before taking a bath.

Burdock that is grown in countries like China, Europe and US can be eaten for relief. Burdock is available as capsules, cram, tea, fluid and root. It has great anti-bacterial and anti fungal properties and is best used when it is fresh. This root is found to be very effective in treating conditions like poison ivy, canker sores, boils, psoriasis and eczema.

It is still more significant to note that burdock root is used as a compress for other inflammatory conditions like hemorrhoids and arthritis. However this perennial root should not be used during pregnancy and by those that have cardiac-vascular disorders.

You must have definitely experienced the magical properties of yogurt in healing, with yogurt proving excellent in not just restoring balance within the system but also having active cultures to overcome bacterial and other infections. Yogurt can be taken with meals or as a snack and can also be applied to the infected area as an effective home cure for bacterial infection.  The humble turmeric that is thought to be more of an ingredient in most households in India and the Orient is also an effective home cure for bacterial infection. Powdered turmeric and pepper can be added to milk and drunk at bedtime to provide relief from sore throat, as it can be applied as a paste with water on the infected area to provide relief.

Treating bacterial infection that is an imbalance between good and bad bacteria can be easily tackled with home cures for bacterial infection like tea tree oil that is extracted from the leaves of the Australia plant Melaleuca alternifolia. This natural antibiotic oil is usually applied diluted and proves very effective in tackling   burns, abrasions, acne, acne scars, eczema, warts, psoriasis, and other fungal and viral infections. However precautionary measures need to be taken while using tea tree oil; it should be used only externally as this oil can cause hypersensitivity and contact dermatitis reactions.
